Dr. Anthony DellaMonica

Dr. Anthony DellaMonica received his undergraduate degree in Animal Science at Purdue University. 
He attended the University of Bridgeport where he received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  After
practicing as a nurse in ICU and the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, he decided to pursue his lifelong goal
of becoming a veterinarian.  He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University
in 1993, where he graduated with honors.  His special interests include endoscopic medicine.

He and his wife Debra are the parents of two grown children, Dana and Daniel.  In addition he and his
wife breed, raise and exhibit in conformation shows of schipperke dogs.  They have the honor of having
a dog in the top 10 schipperke breed rating for the past 6 years.  In addition to staying busy with the the
dogs, his hobby is fly fishing.  "There is no better day than standing in the middle of a beautiful river
for hours trying to outsmart a fish."  Its a hobby he shares with his son and father.
