The doctors and staff at Guilford Veterinary Hospital are both sad and happy to announce the retirement of Dr. Deborah Ackles and Dr. Donald Mullen.
After 32 years Dr. Ackles has decided to retire so she can travel the world and spend more time with her two beautiful grandchildren. We will miss her dedication to GVH and her commitment to her patients. Dr. Ackles’ last day will be Friday, December 21, 2018.
Dr. Mullen, although retiring from the partnership after 40 years, will continue to see patients part time at GVH. In his semi-retirement he will enjoy traveling, boating and spending more time with his two beautiful grandchildren.
Guilford Veterinary Hospital will continue to provide the highest quality of medicine and care possible to our patients and the community. Doctors Anthony DellaMonica, Anita Soucy and Morna Pixton will continue as partners and owners of the practice. Doctors Kirsten Nordt, Christina DeAngelo, Katelyn McGovern and Alanna Munzenmaier will continue as associate veterinarians. While our team will miss their dedication and compassion, we wish Dr. Ackles and Dr. Mullen the best in their retirement and semi-retirement.
